| TURKEY-VEGETABLE MEATBALLS |

This great recipe was donated by Healthy Inspirations
and it will make a healthy choice for the upcoming
celebrations.
1-½ lbs. Ground lean turkey ***
¼ tsp. pepper ***
Breadcrumbs made from 2 slices of
¼ tsp. oregano ***
40-calorie bread, toasted ***
1 egg white ***
5 green onions chopped ***
2 garlic cloves, crushed ***
¼ tsp. coarsely shredded carrots ***
Pam cooking spray ***
¼ cup coarsely shredded zucchini ***
Preheat oven to 400o -
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, except Pam. Stir
well. Shape into1-inch meatballs. Place in a broiler
sprayed with Pam. Bake for 15 minutes or until done.
Yield 45 meatballs.
Count 8 meatballs as 1 protein and ½ vegetable
