What happens next?

First, you and your doctor need to select a BMI goal, or target BMI. You should choose a target BMI that will not only help lower your health risk, but is at a level that you can achieve and maintain.

Next, you need to know all of the treatment options that are available to you, and you need to know which options are most appropriate for you. Your doctor can help you select the most appropriate treatment(s).

Finally, you need to select good programs or services that you can afford and that will support you during treatment.
