Should I still continue to see my doctor?

Yes!

If you are maintaining your current BMI but plan to lose weight in the future, you and your doctor should re-evaluate your condition in three to six months to decide if you should begin a weight-loss program.

If you are not ready or interested in losing weight, you and your doctor can
re-evaluate your "readiness" in six to 12 months, or sooner if you prefer. You and your doctor will also reassess your health risk at that time.

If you have lost weight and have reached your goal, you should continue to see your doctor regularly so s/he can monitor your progress. This should be done as often as for any other chronic medical condition like high blood pressure or diabetes, and you and your doctor can work out a specific visiting schedule.
