Campaign to Make America Walkable
The Campaign to make America Walkable provides assistance to neighborhoods and communities to help them become more pedestrian-friendly. Much of the work is done through workshops and training sessions designed to help community leaders, transportation professionals and neighborhood activists become more familiar with what it takes to make a walkable community and how to make it happen. For more information on the Campaign (which is sponsored by the non-profit Bicycle Federation of America), check out their Web site on the Internet at www.bikefed.org
