Fraudulent Health Claims: Don’t Be Fooled
This brochure, also published by the Federal Trade Commission, helps consumers spot false and unsubstantiated claims, describes some typical areas where fraud flourishes, and suggests how you can protect yourself. This brochure also helps consumers know where and how to report false advertising or labeling claims as well as how to obtain information about particular hospitals, clinics, or treatment centers.
